Chinese AI social platform Soul App, an AI-powered immersive social platform, has detailed its strong performance and technological foundation in its latest public disclosure document. The company’s Hong Kong IPO application proof underscores its unique positioning in the emotional consumption segment, built on robust user engagement and proprietary AI technology.

A Leading AI Social Platform for Generation Z

Soul App is recognized as the first AI-powered immersive social platform in China. The platform is built on a user interest graph and powered by AI technologies—notably its proprietary native emotional intelligence large model, “Soul X” —offering immersive interactive experiences and emotional value to its users.

The platform has cultivated a large-scale, highly active, and engaged community of young users, boasting around 390 million cumulative registered users. The documents indicate that over 78.7% of Soul’s daily active users (DAUs) are members of Generation Z.

For the first eight months of 2025, Soul reached approximately 11 million average daily active users (DAU). User engagement on the platform is exceptionally high and reflects its ability to meet the interactive and emotional needs of its user base.Users launch Soul to communicate, connect, and explore for over 50 minutes every day.Approximately 75 one-on-one private messages are exchanged per user per day.The average monthly 3-month user retention rate reached 80%.

According to Frost & Sullivan data for the eight months ended August 31, 2025, Soul App ranked the first among all AI-powered immersive social platforms in China in terms of average DAU, daily per capita launch count (20.1 times), and 30-day new-install retention rate (23%).

Sustained Financial Performance and Revenue Structure

Soul App has demonstrated a clear trajectory of sustainable financial growth. The company’s financial performance highlights its effective commercialization strategy. Revenue has grown consistently:

  • RMB1,667.4 million in 2022.
  • RMB1,846.1 million in 2023.
  • RMB2,210.5 million in 2024.

This growth represents a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of more than 15%. Revenue for the first eight months of 2025 was RMB1,682.9 million.

The company has maintained strong financial health, remaining profitable since 2023. It posted an adjusted profit of RMB337.3 million in 2024 and RMB286.4 million in the first eight months of 2025. Furthermore, net cash inflow from operating activities in 2024 was RMB421.2 million.

The platform’s main revenue streams are derived from AI-powered emotional value services. These services, which include virtual items and membership privileges, accounted for 90.8% of the revenue in the first eight months of 2025. The average monthly revenues per paying user (ARPPU) reached RMB104.4, indicating a strong user willingness to pay for the emotional value provided by the platform.
